Rhubarb Cherry Gin & Tonic

A refreshing cocktail with lots of fruit flavour

Winter blues got you down? Jump into summer mid way through the winter season by grabbing some cherry preserves and rhubarb that you stored from the summer! Don’t have cherry or rhubarb? A nice dark frozen fruit will also work. Adding a bit of tonic for a natural health kick.

Our Cup of Choice: Colour Bomb Cup

The colour of this cocktail is so bright! What a better way to show off the cocktail than with a clear glass with bright spots of colour! We love using the Colour Bomb Cups because the unique spots on each cup make it easier to remember which one is yours.

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Monashee Spirits Spruce Tips Gin

  • 2 oz Cherry Rhubarb Puree*

  • 1/4 oz Lime juice

  • Tonic

Fill ice cup, add gin, add cherry rhubarb puree, add lime juice. Top with tonic. Option to Stir.

We’re building this cocktail straight in the glass. To start, fill your Colour Bomb Cup with ice and add 2oz of Monashee Spirits spruce tips gin. Then add your cherry rhubarb puree. We used one of our Citrus Reamers to make the lime juice and added it straight to the glass. Top it all off with a little tonic! Give it a stir to incorporate all the flavours - or leave it as is for a pretty gradient in the cup.

*To make the cherry rhubarb puree - add cherries and rhubarb to a blender with a bit of sugar to sweeten and blitz till its a smooth texture.

Garnish:

  • Lime Wedge

Add a little lime wedge to the rim of the cup for some colour and little extra citrus pop!
