April Spritz - Gin, Berry, Sparkling Rosé & Lemonade

Today was a beautiful day!! So sunny and bright which made this sparkling boozy lemonade a real winner around the glass shop. We all have a real soft spot for Rosé — so mixing it with some gin and berries made this cocktail a real show stopper for our Friday cocktail hour.

Our Cup of Choice: Revelstacker

With berries and lemons and lots of colour we thought a clear glass would be the right choice to show off this cocktail. Our Revelstacker did the trick — it’s clear with a coloured wrap around the lip so you know which glass is yours. And as an added bonus, these Revelstackers can stack in your cupboard!!

Ingredients:

  • Lemon wedges

  • Handful raspberries

  • 1 oz Monashee Ethos Gin

  • 1 oz Strawberry simple syrup

  • 3 oz Sparkling rosé

  • San Pellegrino sparkling lemonade

To make the strawberry simple syrup combine a cup of strawberries with 1/3 cup of sugar and 1/2 cup water. Simmer for 5 minutes and then strain.

This cocktail is built right in the glass. Start by adding ice to your Revelstacker cup then top with the lemon wedge and raspberries. Pour in the Monahsees Ethos Gin, the strawberry simple syrup and the sparkling rosé. Then top up your glass with the sparkling lemonade. Want a little lighter drink? You can omit the gin for a less boozy taste.

Garnish:

  • Lemon wheel

  • Mint

The green from the mint really brings out all the reds and yellows of this drink. Finish the drink with a Big Eddy Glass Works Glass Straw.

Who doesn’t love a good ol’ pink lemonade — especially when it’s packed full of all our favourite boozy treats. Best enjoyed on a patio under the sun.

xoxo
